What is SecureCheap?

SecureCheap is an AI-powered infrastructure management platform that consolidates monitoring, security scanning, cost optimization, and alerting into a single coherent dashboard.

Instead of running five separate tools for uptime, server metrics, WordPress security, cloud costs, and notifications — SecureCheap pulls all of it into one view, with a single agent and a single API key per integration.

Architecture overview

SecureCheap uses a lightweight agent model for server-side data collection:

  • sc-agent — a small Go binary installed on each server. Pushes metrics over HTTPS every 30 seconds. Works behind NAT and firewalls.
  • WordPress plugin — the sc-monitor plugin connects your WP sites. Handles security scans, checksum verification, and plugin management.
  • Cloud API integrations — no agent needed. Connect via read-only API keys. SecureCheap polls cost and resource data every hour.
  • Web dashboard — real-time data via WebSocket. Runs at app.securecheap.com. No local installation required.
